Doublecheck Your Head – Beastie Boys x Beastie Boys – download
I put this remix album out on September 1st, 2009 in support of the Beastie Boys re-release of their Check Your Head album. The concept of the remix album, as implied by the title and cover art, was to remix the Beasties with themselves. The songs I used to mix together all came from Check Your Head. The seventh and final track however does not follow this formula. Rather, its a remix of the Beastie’s song “Too Many Rappers” which is slated to be released on their upcoming album Hot Sauce Committee. Several of the tracks were posted on the official Beastie Boys website. Doublecheck Your Head has been bootlegged on vinyl without my consent.
