Doublecheck Your Head – Beastie Boys2 – download
I put this remix album out on September 1st, 2009 in support of the Beastie Boys re-release of their Check Your Head album. The concept of the remix album, as implied by the title and cover art, was to remix the Beasties with themselves. The songs I used to mix together all came from Check Your Head. The seventh and final track however does not follow this formula. Rather, its a remix of the Beastie’s song “Too Many Rappers” off their album Hot Sauce Committe Pt. 2. Several of the tracks were posted on the official Beastie Boys website.
